Aug 2018 Christian Hospital to Cosponsor Educational Program on Memory Loss By: Maureen Lynam 1282 In the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease, families face new questions as they adjust. What does the diagnosis mean? What kinds of plans need to be made? What resources are available to help? Get answers to these questions and more at "Living with Memory Loss," a four-part educational program co-sponsored by Christian Hospital and the Alzheimer's Assocation. This series is open to those with memory loss and/or dementia of all types. Family, friends and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Disease basics, safety issues, coping strategies and available resources will be discussed. Taking place on September 8, 15, 22, and 29 at Northwest HealthCare, the last meeting will include lunch for those who attend at least 2 of the 4 classes. Registration is required.
