Christian Hospital Foundation to Recognize Area Community Leaders
The Christian Hospital Foundation will honor community leaders at its tenth annual Legacy Leaders Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 25, at Norwood Hills Country Club.
Sister Karl Mary Winkelmann, SSND, will receive the Paul F. Detrick Legacy Leaders Award. This award honors an individual whose impact and commitment has left a legacy in the North County community.
The Florissant Rotary is the Community Vision Award recipient. The Florissant Rotary is being recognized as an organization that has created economic opportunities to further the North County area’s presence in the region.
William D. Zweig, MD, will be recognized with the Physician of the Year Award. This award is bestowed upon a physician who has dedicated much of their career to serving patients at Christian Hospital with compassion and expertise.
Rev. Cedric Portis, Third Presbyterian Church, will receive the Carpe Diem Award for recognizing needs in the community and choosing to ‘seize the day’ and take action to provide necessary resources in North County.
Kelvin R. Westbrook, chair of BJC HealthCare Board of Directors, will be the master of ceremonies for the event.
The evening will begin with cocktails, followed by dinner and the awards presentation.
