Christian Hospital Sleep Disorders Center at Northwest HealthCare Reaccredited
The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) has reaccredited the Sleep Disorders Center at Northwest HealthCare, 1225 Graham Rd. in Florissant, Mo., making it the longest AASM accredited sleep center in the north St. Louis County area. It has maintained its AASM accreditation since 2003, also making it the oldest within the BJC HealthCare system. AASM-accredited centers are recognized as providers of the highest quality of care and continually uphold the most stringent standards. In addition to in lab testing, the Sleep Lab at Northwest HealthCare has branched out into home studies, and is always looking for new ways to better serve the community and improve their sleep health.
Since it opened in 1987, the staff at the Christian Hospital Sleep Disorders Center has helped thousands of people throughout the area achieve restful sleep. The center’s physicians are Diplomates of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and its sleep technicians are registered or registry eligible.

- loud or excessive snoring
- sleep apnea (stop breathing during sleep)
- daytime sleepiness
- restless sleep, frequent awakening
- morning headaches
- trouble awakening
- early awakening
- falling asleep at work or during other activities
- insomnia (inability to quickly fall asleep or stay asleep)
- limb movements during sleep
