Welcome Shereece Wallace, AGPCNP-BC

Christian Hospital and BJC Medical Group are pleased to welcome Shereece Wallace, AGPCNP-BC, to the specialty practice on the campus of Christian Hospital. Shereece will work directly with Dr. Carlos Yu within the neurology specialty.

Shereece is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She has been practicing as a nurse at since 2010 and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing in 2017. At BJC Medical Group Specialists of North County, Shereece will focus on neurology with Dr. Yu, assisting with patient education and follow-up appointments, performing assessments, diagnosing, and treating neurological disorders. “The partnership between Dr. Yu and I will be unique and tailored so we, as a team, can provide the best care to our patients,” Shereece says.

Shereece’s personal experiences inspired her interest in the brain and neurological conditions. “The human brain is fascinating and I have been at the bedside as a registered nurse and as a granddaughter while taking care of my patients and my grandmother, who suffered from neurological conditions,” Shereece explains.

Shereece is from Alton, Ill. and is a volunteer for the Madison County Medical Reserve Corps and working towards her certification as a Community Emergency Response Team volunteer. She enjoys exercising, running, being outside in the sun, learning Spanish, and spending time with her family and friends. She has two beagles and comes from a large family with two brothers, two sisters, and 12 nieces and nephews.
