Welcome Amy Cooley, FNP-C

Christian Hospital and Northwest ENT Specialists are pleased to welcome certified family nurse practitioner Amy Cooley to the practice at Northwest HealthCare. Amy joins Daren Kest, DO, and Gerald Moritz, MD, who are both board certified in otolaryngology.

Northwest ENT Specialists provides comprehensive care for adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat (ENT) care and treats a wide range of head and neck disorders including, but not limited to, cancers of the head and neck, dizziness, facial fractures/trauma, hearing loss/evaluation, pituitary surgery, sinus/allergy problems, snoring and sleep apnea, thyroid and parathyroid gland disorders, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), tonsillitis, voice disorders, skin cancers, and swallowing disorders.

Amy received her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2017. Her nursing career within the ENT specialty began seven years ago. Prior to pursuing her advanced practice degree, Amy practiced as a registered nurse in a variety of specialties, including providing care for patients with ENT conditions at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

“I like to treat the whole patient instead of only focusing on their condition or disease,” Amy explains. “I also emphasize education to my patients because I want them to have a complete understanding of their disease, treatment, and outcome.”

Amy was born in New York and grew up in a military family, moving every few years. She lived in a variety of places growing up and is the youngest of five and now has 10 nieces and nephews. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, fiancé and puppy. She also enjoys traveling when time allows.
